I was proud to get this story of greedy, evicting landlords in the Mission on the air during the dot-com era in SF. I have a great photo of friends listening to this show in the 949 Market squat. This is the piece that opens On The Lower Frequencies: A Secret History of The City.

Onion Flavored Rings toured to the PAC NW with our friends, TULSA, to celebrate the release of our two new 7″‘s. Perfect Evolution is Steve’s “miniature epic” — a real live concept 7″! It features the mind-breaking silkscreened cover art of Worcester, MA’s Mike Leslie and is still available from Thrillhouse Records. The other one is a split record with our friends, THE FUTURE VIRGINS, from Chattanooga/Pensacola. This one came out on 1-2-3-4-Go! Records from Oakland. Many have commented on the illegibility of the cover art. I want to tell the world that they were misprinted in the wrong colors and, hopefully, the second pressing will be a little clearer.
